After years of interference with school, my jobs, and my life I found a Therapist who showed me the way out. I am now a Licensed Therapist and I can help you live your best life!
Breathe
Take a long breath in through your nose, all the way down and into the belly. Slowly exhale through your mouth. Do this 8-10 times.
Stop Your Thoughts
Say outloud STOP! Say "I am working on being calm" and then Breathe.
Go Outside
Don't stay in the house or bed if you are feeling anxious or worried -- go for a walk and look at the beauty around you.
STFD
In everyday life, learn to STFD. This stands for Slow the F___ Down! Use whatever word works for you. Talk slower, breathe, walk slower, and breathe.
The Present Moment
The past is gone and the future has yet to arrive. Right now, focus on this moment. It is what we have.
